Enhanced Long Messaging allows text messages of up to 3,500 characters to be sent to web enabled mobile phones and provides the ability to send messages longer than the standard 160 characters.

Notifications of long messages only require a single text message and a data enabled device. Long messages can include far more detail and provide the ability to communicate outside of a traditional email or text message. You can tell when a message was read and by whom.

Standard text messaging only offers a limited amount of characters with which to communicate. By sending messages through Enhanced Long Messaging, it is possible to send information that is more detailed and communicates more effectively to a broader range of devices. Enhanced Long Messages can be retrieved from any device or computer capable of accessing the internet.
